Psalm 1:1-3

1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

 Psalm 4:1

Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer.

Psalm 8:1-9

Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. 2 Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. 3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? 5 You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. 6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: 7 all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, 8 the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. 9 Lord, our Lord how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Psalm 9:9-10

9 The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. 10 Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Psalm 9:12

For he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted.

Psalm 9:18

But God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish.

Psalm 10:17-18

17 You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, 18 defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror.

Psalm 11:7

For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.

Psalm 12:7

You, Lord, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked,

Psalm 13:5-6

5 But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. 6 I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.

You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

4 Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. 5 Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

Psalm 25:8-9

8 Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. 9 He guides the humble in what is right
    and teaches them his way.

Psalm 25:12

Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.

Psalm 25:14

The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.

Psalm 25:20-21

20 Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. 21 May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you.
