I am grateful for the opportunity God has given me to be the hands and feet of Jesus. God has given each of us a responsibility to reach the lost, care for the poor, spread the Gospel. This takes each of us going out as the hands and feet of Jesus. I can not think of a more important job than that.

I am grateful for the blessing of being able to give to others. God gives to us, He expects us to give to others. How can we receive God’s gifts without giving back to others?

I am grateful for those who sacrifice the life they may have chosen for themselves, to live the life God has chosen for them. These are the people who are not afraid to be the hands and feet of Jesus and who are making a difference in the world.

I am grateful that I have a voice to speak out against injustice. There are so many around the world who suffer in silence because of oppression. I am grateful that I can speak out and it is my duty to speak out for others who can’t speak out for themselves.

I am grateful that God loved us enough to have a day set aside for us to rest. Now, I know that in this day and age, observing and celebrating the Sabbath has fallen by the wayside, but that’s on us, not God. God knew that we would need a day of rest. I am grateful for that day.

I am grateful for the ability to read. I love to read! I love to escape into the pages of a good book. When life seems to be falling apart around me, escaping into a good book and someone else’s life momentarily helps me deal with tough times. I love reading to learn about all sorts of interesting things. I can learn about other parts of the world, how things are made or work, learn about the God of the universe through the Bible. It is a wonderful thing, reading!

I am grateful for the protection of God. God does send His guardian angels to protect us from the arrows of the enemy. They are warriors sent to fight Satan on our behalf. I am grateful for this. We can not see into the spiritual realm and are unaware of what the enemy is planning to bring us down, but God is aware and His angels are aware and they are sent to protect us from harm.
